You may want to know why “but ” well read on, for a while now P5W users has been glamouring for this, well finally the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update is now available for download Over The Air for all Gionee P5W, so if you happened to be one of those whose uses this device you should be able to update with ease.

However the “but” earlier mentioned refers to those who may have rooted theirs, so if yours is rooted we advice you try as much as possible to get the flashable rom update so as to avoid any stories that touch, how then can you go about it?

Steps To Update Gionee P5W To Android 6.0 Marshmallow

1. First reboot your Gionee P5W.
2. Now connect your device to internet.
3. Now you will get a notification in the notification bar that update is available for Gionee P5W.
4. Download the update and you are good to go. 
5. If you do not receive any update.
6. Go To Setting>About Phone System Update.
7. In System Update look for "Search For Update".
8. Tap on "Search For Update"
9. Now your device will search for android 6.0 marshmallow update for Gionee P5W
10. Now it will show that update is available. 
11. Once download is complete you may go ahead to install the update
