- MT65** USB Drivers/VCOM drivers Download and learn how to install it here
- TWRP Recovery for Hot 2 Get it here
- Recovery Enabler Download here
- SuperSU by Chainfire Download here
- Xposed Installer apk (Optional)
- Xposed Framework (Optional)
How To Install Root On Hot 2
- Download all the files above
- Place SuperSu on your phones SDcard
- Extract TWRP, Recovery Enabler, on your PC
- Download,read and install mediatek and vcom drivers on your PC
- Extract sp flashtool zip on ur system and flash "Recovery Enabler" to your phone Learn how to do flashes with sp flashtool here and don't reboot.
- Extract and flash TWRP recovery to your phone via sp flashtool, after flash is successful, NB, Do not reboot your device, just boot straight into recovery mode by holding down the "power and vol + buttons for a few seconds until you see the infinix logo"
- After TWRP is successful, select install and locate the Supersu file you place on your sdcard, click on it and and swipe to install.
- If the flash process is complete, just reboot your phone and your devive is rooted successfully.
NB: This tutorial is for those who haven't installed a custom recovery on their devices at all, if u have a custom recovery just go ahead and install only supersu via your recovery. This tutorial should work whether your on 5.1 or 6.0.
